PROFESSIONAL, UNIQUE TATTOOING

A man with glasses and a beard tattooed on his arm is tattooing a person's arm in a tattoo shop, with shelves and artwork on the walls in the background.

I started tattooing in 2003. I knew since childhood that I was going to be tattooed. Heavily influenced by the punk and skate scene of the ‘80s and '90s, I was really interested in seeing the markings on people’s skin and how it could change how the person was perceived.

In the late ‘90's, whilst pursuing a career in music, I got my first few tattoos and was hooked. The tattoo world was exciting, transformative and intoxicating - it was more than a career; it was a way of life and a lifestyle that I'd always wanted.

After spending years brushing up on my drawing skills, I started out on my tattooing journey with an apprenticeship in Colchester. A couple of years later, knowing I needed to branch out and work amongst other great artists, I began exploring the wider world of tattooing. I worked and guested at world-renowned studios around the globe, including Immortal Ink, Skinwear, Two Hands, Salon Serpent, Devils Ink, Parliament, Scapegoat, and so many more. For the last 15 years I’ve called London my tattooing home.

Over the twenty plus years I’ve been tattooing, I’ve tried to develop my own niche in the tattoo world.
Ever since I started out I wanted my work to stand out from everybody else’s, and for the people who wear my work to feel they have something unique.

Around 2014 I decided to focus on a graphic, surreal, illustrative tattooing which is mostly made of linework. I’ve never turned my back on the more classic styles of tattooing, I still love to do them, but I love surreal tattooing which stands out from the crowd.

If you do too, then lets make some great new work on you.

  • I've been visiting Nick and The Good Fight team for around a year now, it's becoming something of a second home for me. Nick is an excellent tattooist, shop manager and all round human being.
